Platform 21/03 – Belgium
Platform 21/03 is a national collective of some 30 Belgian anti-racist organizations (French and Dutch speaking organizations). They jointly organize the national anti-racism demonstration in Brussels on 21/3 every year since 2018. More than 160 Belgian organizations, including trade unions and civil society at large, endorse their 6 demands (ranging from discrimination in education that must stop, zero tolerance for police violence, to the closure of the closed centers for refugees) and mobilize for this demonstration.
In 2021, the actions of Platform 21/03 will not only focus on racism, but also on the increasing fascistization and the increasing violence and against migrants and the organizations that stand up for minorities’ rights.
The Platform 21/03 meets monthly in Brussels, everyone is welcome to participate.
